Wadi Rum, on the tentative list of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites is a must to experience.  As you head south of Amman and approach Wadi Rum, your eyes will adjust to breathtaking and panoramic views of massive mountains, colored in shades of red, yellow, and orange.  
Wadi Rum is the place where Lawrence of Arabia based his headquarters during the Arab Revolt against the Ottomans in World War I.  
And, a Hollywood classic backdrop where  ‘Lawrence of Arabia’ was filmed   starring Peter O’Toole.


As you enter Wadi Rum Village, your driver will arrange a Bedouin jeep ride deep into the heart of the desert.  Experience the adventure as you take a four wheel jeep tour in the sandy desert.  During the tour you will experience Sandstones, Jablas rising out of the valley floor, and stunning views.  Be sure to have your camera ready.

The Bedouins are known to be hospitable and gracious, you can ask your driver to stop for photos, take a short hike, or just hang out and enjoy the serine desert.

Your tour will end at the Wadi Rum Village, where you will have the opportunity to freshen up, shop, and mingle with the Bedouins.  Lunch is hosted by the local Bedouins, and your driver will be available to assist.
After a fun filled day in Wadi Rum, relax and enjoy a sunset drive back to Amman.
